▶️ Another great exercise for the quadriceps. Sometimes criticized for being “not safe” on the knees but when done APPROPRIATELY can be a great way to “fatigue” your legs at the end of the workout


✅ Lock your hips back and into the seat pad, maintain a neutral spine position that allows you to minimize spinal motion during the movement. Drive your upper leg into the seat and squeeze from the top of the leg all the way to above your knee. Use dorsiflexion (shoelaces into shin) as you lower the pad and relax ankles as you squeeze and move the pad up


💡Be mindful to control the weight as opposed to simply tossing and catching the shin pad each rep. If that pad isn’t pressing against your shin while moving, you’re really not using the weight
