Walking Lunges

Similar to the Split Squat, Walking Lunges can be varied to bias different musculatures of the leg and hip.

The main focus for Walking Lunges should be maintaining pelvic stability as with most single leg work.

In this video Coach Deisy employs more of a hip and glute dominant lunge as you can see she’s focusing on maximizing the amount of hip flexion she gets into as opposed to maximizing knee flexion which would bias quads.
