RFE Split Squat
🦵🏻The RFE (Rear Foot Elevated) Split Squat Variation can be a great way to train the quads and glutes.
The rear foot should be elevated just so that when your at the bottom you can still maintain an aligned pelvis.
The elevation of the back foot places the rectus femoris in its most lengthened position while still challenging the front leg. Depending on the degree of knee flexion on the front leg will dictate whether you’re able to bias more quad or glute.
