Split Squat for Quads

The focus is to maximize the amount of knee flexion (bending) as we begin to reach the bottom of our range.
Making sure your weight is mainly on the front leg and initiating the rep by bending at the knee first can be a huge help.
Bonus Tip: Adding a wedge or smaller plate under the front heel can also add to the amount of knee flexion reached due to a more favorable ankle position.
